Job Summary
Assemble and install aircraft electrical systems, equipment, and accessories in the airplane and/or specific sections, adhering to quality requirements. Locate points, parts, holes, wire bundles, and assemblies using station lines or index points, deriving measurements from electrical specifications. Perform continuity checks to ensure proper functionality; utilize prints, schematics, and production documents to complete tasks. Execute required pickups, changes, and rework independently, often without wire forming boards or tooling. Select parts and tools, report sequencing or materials issues, perform hand forming of wiring, soldering, riveting, and related mechanical work as needed. Work onsite at Everett or Renton, WA, and comply with safety, regulatory, and export-control requirements. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly installation.
- 1+ years of experience with safety process and/or procedures in a manufacturing or operations environment (LOTO).
- 1+ years of experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials.
- Ability to recognize colors.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
