Job Summary
Prepares and assembles electrical components of compressor packages by reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly drawings; plans conduit routes based on drawings; uses conduit bender to form runs; installs electrical devices and instrumentation; pulls and terminates wiring; welds to mount conduit; can use Excel to import tag data; collaborates with production to coordinate routing and corrective actions; cross-training possible in other assembly functions.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training
- 2-5 year’s experience working in an industrial environment
- Ability to read blue prints and use simple math skills
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
- Must be able to work as a team
- Ability to pass a drug test
