Job Summary
Electrical System Engineer responsible for ETO design projects in Castel Guelfo (BO) and Bologna area, including Static Transfer Switches, Power Switches, Distribution units, and Remote Power Panels for data centers. Create designs, drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), and process Engineering Change Orders; evaluate custom technical requests with AE, prepare quotations per internal guidelines, and liaise with sub-suppliers, Application Engineering, and OPC for coordination. Support FWT/prototype building, develop plans and schedule updates, and collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and other teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years (or an associate degree with 10+ years or high school diploma with 15+ years) of relevant experience; strong planning, documentation, and communication skills; CAD proficiency; and deep knowledge of power switchboards and IEC/NEC/UL standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Associate degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant experience
- Good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills
- Team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- CAD, spreadsheets, word processing, communications
