Job Summary
Endorse underground cable system studies and projects engineering from tendering through commissioning, including issuance of technical deliverables and inputs for internal or external stakeholders. Prepare and issue technical offers with detailed costings, manage design of specific installation components, and perform calculations in thermal, electromagnetic, and mechanical areas. Drive meetings with customer representatives to ensure compliance and satisfaction while supporting the HVAC Sales department with technical clarifications. Balance cost benefits with technical requirements and QHSE aspects across Europe, with a strong focus on the German market.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and German
- Master's degree in engineering
- First engineering role in Energy/Grid activities
- Strong interpersonal skills such as negotiating, problem solving and knowledge sharing
- Team spirit
- Capable of handling multitasks and sorting priorities
- Reactivity and flexibility
- Ability to handle computation and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in Electromagnetic, Thermal, Mechanical: design, calculation methods and computing (e.g. Finite Elements Modelling)
Desired Qualifications
- Electrotechnics and/or Energy/Grid oriented is preferred
- MathCad is a plus
- Knowledge of CAD modeling is a plus
