Job Summary
Promote and ensure highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to. Supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works for railway signalling equipment, including signals, train stops, point machines, track circuits, and level crossings, strictly per design and specifications. Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of construction plans regarding time, cost, and quality while ensuring compliance with engineering design, client standards, and statutory regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and develop individual and team competence. This role reports to the Construction Manager within Wabtec's Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team, located across sites from Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, QLD.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical / Electrical Mechanic License
- Certificate IV in Rail Signaling
- Substantial experience working as a supervisor in the railway industry
- Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Construction White / Blue Card
- Rail Industry workers card
- Clean Driver's License
- Practical & organisational skills
- Successful candidates will be required to complete background and criminal history check
