Job Summary
Oversee solar installation operations in the North West, managing logistics, delegation, and delivery while ensuring work completes safely, on time, and within budget. Supervise operatives, manage materials, and conduct pre-installation building inspections and technical surveys to uphold quality and compliance with building regulations. Implement risk management and assessments to maintain on-site safety standards, organize weekly material deliveries, and develop reporting staff. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage customer service, and lead teams of engineers using MS Office tools. Hold C&G2391, Solar BPEC, or LCL qualifications with a CSCS/ECS Gold or Black Card. Join RE:GEN's world-class workplace to contribute to meaningful regeneration projects across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Solar & Electrical installations
- Hold competence in the relevant discipline C&G2391, Solar BPEC or LCL qualification
- CSCS/ECS Gold or Black Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels
- Be able to effectively lead a team of engineers
- Ability to instil and promote a great team mentality with strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
- Must be analytical and problem solving with enthusiasm to enhance, improve, optimise, streamline
- A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills
- Able to use MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- SMSTS/SSSTS qualification preferred
- Previous experience in social housing preferred but not essential
- Previous experience of working to PAS 2030/2035 preferred but not essential
