Job Summary
Electrical Supervisor responsible for supervising a crew of electricians to maintain power supply safely and efficiently. Assigns crews to tasks, applies electrical theory for high-voltage equipment, develops electricians, and leads safety meetings. Ensures safe, efficient operation and compliance with company policies. Requires strong communication and administrative skills, ability to work independently within a management team, and possession of a valid driver’s license. Associate degree or apprenticeship completion is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate in Electrical or Apprenticeship completion.
- General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations.
- Working knowledge and skill with PC utilizing work processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of the management team.
- Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills
- Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets.
