Job Summary
Electrical Supervisor will oversee and directly supervise electrical maintenance personnel to implement, control and report the electrical maintenance program — predictive, preventive, corrective program, surveillance and periodic tests for a nuclear power plant. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams to ensure timely, high-quality tasks; monitoring Nuclear Steam Supply System electrical equipment and Balance of Plant equipment to confirm proper function; ensuring proper staging and resource readiness; conducting pre- and post-job briefings; maintaining equipment history reports; overseeing tests; providing technical support; leading troubleshooting; updating master data in the material management system; ensuring compliance with maintenance codes and safety standards; taking clearances for maintenance work; supporting testing procedures (hot functional tests, power ascension tests, performance tests) and integrating Operating Experience into procedures; and contributing to departmental process improvements and timely reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in nuclear industry
- Knowledge of nuclear power plant maintenance and planning activities with a focus on electrical maintenance oversight and execution
