Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day electrical and instrumentation supervision of hourly mechanics to ensure safe, effective operations in accordance with company policies and regulatory compliance. Drive continuous safety improvement by addressing root causes, conducting meetings, and maintaining good housekeeping while managing labor efficiency and equipment uptime. Oversee EHS, MOC, GMP, and Q.C. compliance, manage the electrical shop, and handle high-voltage distribution, PLC maintenance, and motor troubleshooting. Collaborate with production supervisors, operators, and project engineers on troubleshooting and new design implementation. Develop team competencies through training and people development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of supervisor experience in maintenance
- 10 years of industrial electrical experience
- Must be able to lift and move loads of a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders/stairs
- Must be able to work on elevated platforms
- Must be able to work in general office and manufacturing plant environments
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures and humidity
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required
- Must be able to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to perform sustained manual activities at moderate to heavy levels of exertion
- Must be available for weekend and overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 5 years of supervisor experience
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with instrumentation and controls
- Previous experience with robots
- Six Sigma Certification
- Lean Certification
- SAP Experience
