Job Summary
Electrical Supervisor oversees installation quality on site for manufacturing and subcontractor work, conducts safety audits, performs quality checklists, supports equipment trial runs to verify specifications per Dematic standards, provides on-site reporting of schedule/resources/status to project leads/customers, trains contract labor and subcontractors in installation of material handling equipment, and writes trip reports. Requires extensive travel, hands-on involvement, and adherence to Dematic standards. Strong emphasis on on-site safety, quality assurance, and coordinating both in-house and outsourced teams across multiple locations (Grand Rapids, MI and Dallas, TX).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred
- Experience in quality assurance and adherence to installation standards
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks on-site
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed
