Job Summary

Coordinate work projects within the electrical scope, ensuring high-quality installation of electrical portions, including underground cabling, overhead lines, and substation construction. Supervise the installation of the collection system, manage power grid connections, and partner with engineering teams on drawing reviews, submittals, and project schedules. Monitor trade partner work plans for safety concerns, enforce the Zero Injury Program, and oversee documentation of safety statistics and OSHA reports. Coach field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents on performance and development while maintaining relationships with customers, architects, and union representatives. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, minimum 10 years experience with high and medium voltage equipment, and 13 years supervisory experience. Full-time role with 100% travel; base pay ranges from $125,600 to $188,400.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working with high and medium voltage equipment and cable, installation of collection lines and substation construction
  • Minimum 13 years supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of high and medium voltage cables
  • Knowledgeable about current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble, and other methods of cable and equipment testing
  • Possess working knowledge of electrical drawings, sketches, and prints, underground duct banks, trenching, manholes and vaults for distribution and collection systems, underground and pad mount transformer usage, SCADA systems used in the power industry, transmission line construction, testing and commissioning, and substation construction, testing and commissioning
  • Current driver's license
  • 100% Travel
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
