Job Summary
Lead field operations as Electrical Superintendent for design-build electrical projects (commercial, industrial, data-center) across Cedar Rapids area with national travel; oversee safety, schedule, and quality; supervise field teams; coordinate with Project Managers and clients; manage RFIs, change orders, and daily reports; ensure NEC/OSHA compliance; foster relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors; collaborate with office to align field and project objectives; monitor progress and provide updates to management; long-term opportunity with a stable, respected contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent in construction
- Strong background managing data center or mission-critical projects
- 3+ years managing large-scale electrical construction projects (design/build preferred)
- Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to manage schedules, manpower, and field resources effectively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to oversee multiple active projects and collaborate with project managers
- Willingness to travel nationally as needed
