Job Summary
Direct interface with Owner & Engineers while integrating engineering information packages to develop construction plans and deliverables. Manage construction labor, subcontractor bids, and material takeoffs to control costs and ensure timely project completion. Coordinate craft resources across heavy industrial sites in the Southeast US, supervising Foremen, Journeymen, and administrative staff. Maintain engineering files, interpret construction specifications, and provide scheduling updates. Requires travel to various job sites and operation of a standard 1/2-ton pickup.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of Industrial Construction Management experience in the Superintendent role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- time management and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Must be capable of operating a standard 1/2-ton pick-up
- hold a valid, unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license issued by the state of residence
- the manual dexterity necessary to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard
- Must be willing to travel to job sites located in the Southeast US
- Must be capable of operating a standard 1/2-ton pick-up for occasional delivery and pick-up of materials and personnel
