Job Summary
Lead a team of superintendents and craft professionals on a Port Arthur LNG project. Direct craft activities, schedule and coordinate subcontract work, and ensure use of current design documents with approved changes. Monitor tools/equipment usage, prepare field material requisitions, and maintain productivity while ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. Collaborate with Construction Field Engineers, Craft Supervision, and subcontractors to interpret engineering and vendor documents; implement engineering solutions and ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets. Requires 12-14 years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent); LNG/oil/gas/petrochemical or similar heavy-industry construction experience along the U.S. Gulf Coast is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to develop look-ahead schedules; proven leadership of teams on complex site projects. Field inspections, PPE usage, and flexible scheduling (including night or split shifts) may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12-14 years of relevant work experience or bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- Experience in LNG, oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction along the U.S Gulf Coast (preferred)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
- Ability to develop 3 week look ahead schedule in regards to work operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams
