Electrical Superintendent Excellerate

Job Summary

Lead electrical teams on large projects (0-15+ members) while meeting estimated job costs and productivity goals. Conduct safety audits, develop integrated project schedules, and communicate concerns to leadership to maintain margins. Manage direct reports through performance reviews, coaching, and merit wage increases while fostering constructive employee relations. Navigate difficult conversations to drive positive outcomes and partner with Talent on recruiting and mentoring. Work 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and travel up to 25% to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
  • Well-versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)

  • History of managing large projects (0-15+ team members with direct reporting or multiple small-medium projects simultaneously)
  • Ability to routinely meet and/or beat estimated job costs
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding FTI's productivity goals
  • Familiarity with FTI's estimating software
  • Successful and consistent usage of FTI internal resources (field, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating)
  • Ability to conduct safety audits
  • Ability to develop and integrate project schedule effectively with other trades
  • Ability to effectively communicate areas of concern/opportunity to PM/Account Manager/Leadership
  • Ability to effectively conduct and navigate through difficult conversations resulting in a positive outcome
  • Ability to promote a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations
  • Ability to participate in the performance review process
  • Ability to conduct effective employee performance reviews in a timely manner
  • Ability to coach employees on future growth opportunities
  • Ability to maintain high integrity relations
  • Ability to establish field merit wage increases
  • Ability to partner with Talent to optimize recruiting and selection, employee relations, and other related topics

  • Availability between the hours of 6 AM and 6PM, Monday-Friday
