Job Summary
Oversee all field work, installation, and manpower allocation for commercial projects ranging from $50k to $2.5M. Enforce safety policies, jobsite compliance, and quality standards while coordinating schedules and material needs with the Project Manager. Lead daily huddles with foremen and field crews, mentor staff, and track progress to report issues. Conduct this work primarily in the field across Manhattan and New Jersey, with a full-time 40-hour schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm. This union-represented role requires extensive knowledge of NEC and NYC codes, proficiency in reading blueprints, and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on commercial projects
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and NYC electrical codes, methods, and practices
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical system designs
- Complete understanding of OSHA construction safety regulations
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- 7+ to 10 years experience
- Minimum Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent
- Union-represented role (USWU Local 363A)
