Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on job sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA regulations, monitoring jobsite conditions, and leading incident investigations. Provide leadership to General Foremen and field crews, manage manpower assignments, and conduct daily inspections to verify work meets codes and specifications. Review project schedules, resolve trade conflicts, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain production timelines. Serve as the primary field liaison between project management and crews, approving daily reports and addressing performance issues. This full-time role requires Monday through Friday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience
- Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician License
- Extensive experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements
- Proven leadership experience supervising multiple crews and projects
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with construction documentation, reporting, and basic computer applications
- Stable employment history
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background and reference check
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Possession of reliable transportation
