Job Summary
Electrical Superintendent role overseeing all electrical work and staff on data center projects. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling electrical tasks, coordinating with project managers and contractors, leading journeyman electricians, foremen, and apprentices, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, quality, and on-time delivery. Duties also encompass inspection, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies. Requires strong leadership, communication, coding/regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a data center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or foreman role, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and proficiency with electrical tools and equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage workflow.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical and safety codes and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Valid journeyman electrician license (Preferred).
- Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) are a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
