Job Summary
Lead construction activities for major HV substation and transmission projects by managing partners, internal teams, and coordinating resources to achieve milestones. Review drawings and scopes to ensure execution readiness, conduct site inspections and audits, and support commissioning while resolving technical issues in the field. Champion a Zero Harm culture and quality-first mindset by working closely with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Requires Electrical trade qualification, experience with secondary systems, and comfort working in live operational environments.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification
- Electrical Contractors Licence
- relevant engineering background
- Experience delivering HV electrical, substation or major infrastructure projects
- Secondary and protection systems experience
- Comfortable working within live operational environments
- Experience in outage planning and coordination
- Strong background managing contractors and site-based construction activities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
- Proven leadership skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and construction delivery requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
