Job Summary
Oversee all electrical maintenance, installation, and repair projects to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency. Lead a team of skilled electricians and technicians, managing project timelines, budgets, and scope documents while interpreting construction drawings and communicating with clients and stakeholders. Develop annual budgets, present business plans to leadership, and resolve project problems by interfacing with contractors, designers, and vendors. Monitor key safety indicators, quality scorecards, and financial performance monthly. Work outside in all weather conditions, including wet, humid, and extreme heat environments, with physical demands involving walking up to 5 miles and lifting up to 75 lbs. Schedule runs Monday through Saturday with some weekends and holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have extensive knowledge of construction standard practices, techniques, quality requirements, applicable codes and standards
- Must be capable of working in close proximity of energized equipment and facilities
- Must interpret construction drawings (i.e. elevations, plan views, section views, details, etc) and communicate with customers and subordinates
- Ability to accurately appraise technical situations and recommend resolutions to problems
- Proficient knowledge in all aspects of Distribution systems
- Valid Driver's License or equivalent
- Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement
- REQUIRED: Master Electrician License
- REQUIRED: Minimum of 10 years' oil & gas upstream/midstream and industrial experience of progressive responsibility in electrical construction including demonstrated ability to lead and manage a business unit with work acquisition and execution responsibility
- Must be flexible
- Some weekends/holidays are required
Desired Qualifications
- Secondary education from an accredited college / university
- Relevant certifications for the industry- CUSP, PMP, PE
