Job Summary
Inspect, identify hazards, and diagnose electrical problems on structural wiring, service equipment, and fixtures for single-family and multi-family properties. Perform repairs or replacements adhering to the National Electrical Code, work from ladders and scaffolds, and provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates. Engage with homeowners to inform them of issues and lead them to informed buying decisions while communicating with building officials and internal staff. Document work with before and after photos, navigate electronic tablets, and direct apprentices as needed. Requires a clean driving record, background check, and ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must have clean driving record (No more than 3 points in 12 months)
- Must pass Background check and pre-employment drug test
- Able to work a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends
- Ability to read technical diagrams of equipment, controls, and blueprints
- Ability to solve basic math problems as it applies to the NEC Calculations
- Ability to direct Electrical Apprentices assign to you as needed for work scope
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn new methods
- Detail- oriented with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods
- Ability to navigate the use of company provided electronic tablet
- Document work completed with before and after photos
- Accurately estimate and invoice repairs
- Position requires on job shadowing and learning while adhering to workplace procedures using Service Titan Trade Software
- 3+ years of residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System preferred
- FEAT or other Electrical Apprenticeship Training preferred
- Journeyman's certification preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
- Prolonged periods standing, crawling, and climbing ladders up to 24'
- Ability to lift to fifty pounds without additional man-power or mechanical device
- Ability to work in outside environments of heat & cold safely, including attics and crawl spaces
- Report to work well- groomed in appearance and maintain clean uniform
