Electrical Service Technician

Job Summary
Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts. Maintain and calibrate industrial equipment, test components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance, and analyze failures affecting production time. Correct wiring on equipment controls to prevent dangerous conditions and maintain accurate maintenance records. This role requires a Journeyman's License and 3+ years of experience, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime. Candidates must climb ladders, operate vehicles, and work in various environmental conditions while adhering to OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Journeyman's License
- Minimum of 3 years of electrician experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Team spirit and ability to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering services
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime if necessary
- Ability to climb ladders
- Own transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Capability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended durations
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate motor vehicles

- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with various external customers including government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels

- Grooming and dress that does not pose a safety hazard to yourself or employees working in the same general area
- US government security clearance
- Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications or licenses through the duration of the project or contract
