Job Summary
Electrical Service Technician with 2nd-4th year apprenticeship sought to diagnose and repair electrical systems across Agricultural, Industrial, and Commercial divisions. Must read blueprints and one-line diagrams, interpret the National Electric Code, and install/terminate wiring, raceways, and electrical equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating with Lead Technician/Manager, maintaining schedules and time-tracking, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering quality customer service. Must possess strong communication skills, the ability to read plans and layouts, complete OSHA 10, and work with minimal supervision across a range of hours. Required Qualifications
- 2nd-4th year apprentice
- read blueprints and one-line diagrams
- diagnose and repair electrical issues across Agricultural, Industrial, and Commercial divisions
- interpret National Electric Code and local building codes
- read A-Sheets and layout drawings
- install raceways, conduit types (PVC, EMT, Rigid, Flex, IMC, MC) up to 1 1/4”
- terminate multiple circuits and trim out devices
- install/terminate service entrance sections, panels, transformers, disconnects, motor controls
- read and understand lighting controls and special systems (fire alarm, security)
- familiar with hydraulic benders
- complete required safety trainings (OSHA 10)
- maintain clean, safe work area
- effective communication with team and customers
- time-tracking and administrative duties (closing out work orders)
- ability to work diverse hours
- physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
