Electrical Service Technician

Electrical Service Technician reporting to BBEC, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and repairing electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency power, switchgear, transformers, motors, motor controls, relays, PLCs, VFDs, industrial machinery, and data/low-voltage systems; install and modify power distribution, transformers, industrial controls, VFDs, machinery, and associated electrical systems; perform scheduled and corrective preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and code compliance; read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and submittals to determine project requirements and plan work procedures; plan, schedule, assign, participate in, and inspect the work of electricians and apprentices on service calls and special projects; supervise and inspect workmanship for safety, quality, and compliance; train, coach, and mentor employees in electrical methods and safety; coordinate activities with Service Manager, Project Managers, Estimators, Customers, and other contractors to resolve issues and maintain schedules; deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships; participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation; HB Global trace its roots back to HB McClure and emphasizes employee ownership and legacy.
