Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in residential homes. Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues; install, maintain, and upgrade wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes; provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure safety; maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent; collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely job completion; stay current with industry standards and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Residential Electrical Certification Required
- Valid electrical license or certification as required by state regulations
- Proven experience as an electrical technician or electrician, preferably in residential services
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
