Job Summary
Electrical Service Technician in Raleigh, NC for a temp-to-hire role with a well-established company. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit; drilling holes for wiring; assisting in lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors; using hand tools to repair fuses, sockets, bulbs, and switches; maintaining tools and supplies; disassembling defective electrical equipment; loading and transporting materials; keeping work area clean and restocking; potential duty to erect scaffolding; adhering to safety protocols; and performing related tasks across related trades as directed by a supervisor. Requires minimum five years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing residential and light commercial electrical systems, plus a valid NC license with clean driving record. Background check and drug screen are required; E-Verify is used. Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; hourly pay $25-$35 DOE; temp-to-hire with a company over 100 years in Raleigh.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, replacing panels, and re-wiring residential and light commercial buildings
- Valid NC license with clean driving record
- Background check and drug screening
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
