Electrical Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate construction operations, purchases, financial reporting, and project controls for a portfolio of concurrent electrical projects. Negotiate contract revisions with owners, architects, and subcontractors while managing project profitability through predictive analysis and forecasting. Execute major purchases, develop shop drawings, and mitigate supply chain issues alongside the operations team. Supervise staff development and performance for coordinators, engineers, and assistant managers; allocate resources to improve efficiency and profitability. Regularly visit jobsites to assess progress, ensure safety compliance, and coach field supervision. Manage closeout procedures, billing, and cash flow via schedules of values. Resolve change orders and requests for information promptly. Maintain relationships with trade partners and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of electrical commercial construction experience with an electrical contractor
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to manage/run multiple projects as required
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, judgment, decision making and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools required for electrical construction
- Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional computer skills
- Must possess a firm knowledge and be fluent in estimating
- Must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand to complete other administrative functions
