Job Summary
Develop detailed electrical system models using SKM and/or Easy Power to perform arc-flash, short circuit, and coordination studies. Gather utility and site-specific information to ensure accurate reports, then conduct on-site assessments, install equipment labels, and collaborate with field teams. Deliver high-quality arc flash reports to clients within 10 working days of fieldwork completion while mentoring staff in data collection and documentation. Requires five years of electrical power systems experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn industry software. Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide, including overnight trips, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of experience in electrical power systems, installations, or construction
- Strong grasp of OSHA and NFPA standards
- Strong grasp of the National Electrical Code
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn SKM, Easy Power, and other industry software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build client relationships
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues
- Detail-oriented
- Organized
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel nationwide, including overnight trips (up to 10%)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with arc flash data collection, mitigation, and SKM/Easy Power software
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- NFPA 70e certification
