Job Summary
Electrical Safety Manager responsible for supporting and advancing the EHS program with a focus on electrical safety. Key duties include maintaining SME-level NFPA 70E knowledge, conducting field reviews, developing electrical work hazard guidelines, performing safety trainings and orientations, conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NEC, managing lockout/tagout reviews, and providing guidance on PPE selection and electrical safety practices. The role includes coordinating safety initiatives, delivering presentations, leading safety audits and incident investigations, and ensuring site-specific safety requirements are met. Travel up to 50% is listed as a requirement; bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is preferred. The position emphasizes leadership, communication, and the ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional team to exceed safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred
- OSHA-30 certification
- CPR, First-Aid, Arc Flash (NFPA 70e) certification
- Fall Protection and trench & excavation certified
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and interpret OSHA standards
- Ability to train, influence and motivate team members
