Job Summary
Lead electrical safety oversight and serve as the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for personnel, equipment, designs, and installations. Interpret and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, DOE requirements, and industry standards while managing unlisted equipment approval and configuration management programs. Provide technical direction for electrical design, procurement, construction, testing, and maintenance, and establish qualification requirements for inspectors and workers. Collaborate with engineering, ES&H, and other technical disciplines to promote safe, compliant, and reliable project operations. Requires DOE Q security clearance and nuclear experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical field
- 1+ year of nuclear experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in design, maintenance, and/or construction work including requirements documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration, testing, and on site startup
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
