Job Summary
Review warranty and customer quality claims daily, maintain issue stratification, and drive corrective actions for systemic quality issues, recalls, and rapid service updates. Lead teams to identify design and process risks using FMEA tools, collaborate with process engineers to implement control plans, and map defects within production systems to prevent vehicle escapes. Execute yard holds and product-related issue activities to protect product design intent while ensuring adherence to standards for component installation. Perform critical root cause analysis, manage product and process changes through risk assessments, and present findings to hourly staff and senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university
- 1 YOE min
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Degree
- Reactive Green Belt / Black Belt Certification
- Previous experience in resolving complex issues; including root cause, repairs, etc.
- Previous experience in Product Engineering and/ or Vehicle Integration / Development at supplier or Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer
- Previous Manufacturing and/or Quality experience within a vehicle/Component assembly plant
