Job Summary
Assist electricians with roadway lighting repairs, including installing and removing light poles, foundations, conduit, hand boxes, and wiring. Repair lighting outages and load/unload materials and equipment while following Miss Utility regulations. Maintain a valid Maryland Class C driver's license and provide your own hand tools. Perform frequent lifting of 51+ pounds, climb ladders, and work outdoors on your feet throughout the day. This teaching electrical contractor offers 100% company-paid IEC apprenticeship training and opportunities for industry certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Maryland Class C driver's license with no points
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must provide own hand tools
- Frequent lifting (51+ pounds)
- Climbing ladders
- Working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching overhead, and other physical tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Truck-driving experience
- Some electrical experience
