Job Summary
Calibrate a variety of test instruments for electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment while performing standards maintenance and checking company standards. Collect calibration data, record information on data sheets, and complete certifications including out-of-tolerance conditions. Communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers via phone, in person, and email. Travel up to 25% out of town for overnight work at local laboratory and customer facilities. New applicants eager to learn in Micro Precision Calibration Services are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
- Basic mathematics understanding
- Experience in MS Word and Excel
