Job Summary

The Electrical Reliability Technician at U.S. Pipe is responsible for providing electrical support to the maintenance department, training hourly personnel, programming PLCs, and managing electrical work orders. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 3-5 years in industrial electrical fields, strong PLC programming skills, and effective communication abilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 – 5 years of industrial electrical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the foundry or related industry
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project or plant engineering experience, preferably in the foundry or heavy metals industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work across departmental lines and perform effectively in a cross-functional team culture
  • Capable of working in a diverse workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong PLC, software, and electrical and electronic control systems programming and installation experience
  • Computer proficiency with common software programs
  • Previous SAP knowledge is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Must have the ability and willingness to work on any shift, and be on call, overtime, and weekends
