Job Summary
Electrical Quality Technician responsible for supporting QAQC in ensuring installations meet National/City codes and Corbins’ standards. Key duties include coordinating quality inspections and tests, preparing inspection/test reports, verifying compliance with contract documents, interpreting codes, organizing quality documentation, identifying nonconforming work, conducting receiving inspections, contributing to task planning with safety and hazard mitigation, and supporting field teams across commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and water/wastewater projects in the Southwest. Requires 5+ years in the electrical industry, strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to stand and work at job sites, with safety-conscious practices including lockout/tagout and high attention to detail. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; trade certificates or related degrees are preferred. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time role with potential overtime, and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and mobility on varied job sites.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years working in the electrical industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade Certificate or college degree in education preferred or equivalent experience in construction training and development
- Safety Level: drug test and background check will apply
