ELECTRICAL QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
As a Quality Technician, you will ensure compliance with National and City codes, customer design specifications, and maintain a standard of "First Class Work" for installations. Responsibilities include developing project scope understanding, performing quality inspections and tests, preparing reports, verifying compliance with applicable standards, assisting project teams, organizing documents, and identifying nonconformance. The role demands excellent communication skills, knowledge of electrical codes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years working in the electrical industry
- Electrical code and standards knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be a self-starter, organized, and possess good interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk job sites as required
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds unassisted
- Ability to work from various heights
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Trade Certificate or college degree in education preferred or equivalent experience in construction training and development.
