Electrical Quality Systems Team Leader

Job Summary

Lead and manage the Electrical Quality Team, defining standards, coaching staff, and promoting best practices across the RACE portfolio. Own quality assurance for electrical manufacturing and installation, including leading inspections, approving supplier documentation, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans, test plans, and QA documentation to drive a right-first-time approach. Provide technical leadership through the design, build, testing, and commissioning lifecycle, advising engineers on manufacturability and site requirements. Manage suppliers and subcontractors by defining requirements, monitoring performance, and leading inspections to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets. Complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and DBS checks. Onsite working is expected for 4-5 days each week at Culham, Oxfordshire, with occasional travel. Salary is £57,117 inclusive of a Specialist Allowance.

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification or equivalent experience, such as an Engineering degree, HNC/HND, or relevant practical experience
