Job Summary
The Electrical Quality Inspector conducts visual and physical inspections of electrical installations and components within the Modular Data Center and Power Distribution Center lines, ensuring compliance with specified standards and labeling accuracy. Responsibilities include performing audits on incoming materials, verifying workmanship of installations, conducting integrity checks, and collaborating with the Electrical QC team on non-conformance issues. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, coupled with 2+ years of related experience and technical expertise in reading electrical documents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly or inspection within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical BOMs (Bills of Materials), general arrangement drawings, and basic wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Ability to work inside tight enclosure spaces and perform inspections at various heights within the modular units
- Must be able to pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NEMA enclosure ratings and ingress protection (IP) sealing standards
- Familiarity with 5S or Lean manufacturing environments
- Previous experience in a 'Shipping/Receiving' role specifically for heavy industrial electrical equipment
