Job Summary
Inspect new electrical installations, review plans, issue permits, and enforce NEC and state codes across generator, EV charger, and marine power systems. Conduct site visits, perform safety audits, and manage trainee cards and continuing education to ensure technician compliance. Collaborate with PEM/PM and Start & Test teams to align schedules with permitting requirements while maintaining relationships with state agencies. This role requires 90%+ travel and a current Master Electrician license.
Required Qualifications
- 90% or more travel
- current Master Electrician license (or equivalent) in your home state
- obtaining reciprocity licenses for other states as needed
- strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- ability to work collaboratively while traveling extensively
- passion for electrical safety, compliance, and delivering exceptional service
- current State electrical license with required hours and continuing education credits
- willingness to apply for a reciprocity electrical license for any applicable reciprocal states
- working knowledge of the ANVL tool to support service techs through the JSA process
- 32 hours of in person continuing education required for renewal
