Job Summary
Electrical Quality Control Inspectors administer the Quality Management System (QMS) per the MMR PQP, perform periodic jobsite audits, review drawings/specs/submittals for quality, conduct and record inspection/testing activities, coordinate ITP audits with clients/owners/engineers, gather turnover records, and participate in safety/training. They must manage QC inspectors, handle multiple projects, adapt to time pressure, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The role may require travel and flexible hours; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years industrial and/or commercial electrical constructor experience
- E&I quality experience
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) as outlined in MMR PQP
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, approved RFI’s and submittals for quality compliance
- Experience performing inspection and testing activities and documenting results
- Coordinate ITP audit points with client, owner, engineer
- Attend required training including safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
