Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the product development lifecycle. Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and prepare reports while participating in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for non-conformances. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices pertaining to electrical quality assurance. This role supports the Defense industry's mission-driven initiatives, ensuring product safety and performance for national security projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical quality assurance or related roles in the DoD industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components, including their design and performance requirements
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques such as ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment for inspection and validation purposes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
