Job Summary
Residential Electrical Quality Assurance Technician responsible for physically inspecting houses to ensure lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and functioning per Local and NEC Codes and ready for inspection. Duties include installing boxes, wiring, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment per NEC codes; inspecting and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in new construction; reading and interpreting blueprints to identify wiring locations; troubleshooting and repairing all circuitry in new home construction; maintaining safety standards and effective communication. Requires ability to read blueprints, operate tools (hand and power), drive a company vehicle, and lift up to 50 lbs; 3–5 years of experience in fast-paced residential electrical new construction; valid driver’s license with clean record.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record
- Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times
