(Electrical) QA/QC Project Manager- Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Oversee General Contractor construction activities for high-profile data center projects, focusing on schedule status reporting to the project owner. Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips while verifying project governance and applying best practices. Monitor multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure design standards are met, manage supplier interfaces through monthly trackers, and forecast key milestones. Provide technical support to owners, architects, and contractors by rapidly responding to RFIs and reviewing status reports, drawings, and costs. Manage local design teams, offer cost control and constructability guidance, and facilitate information flow via regular meetings. Maintain excellent client relationships to maximize opportunities and capture project learnings for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction or with an electrical contractor
- Experience with substation and power distribution systems
- Familiarity with MEP design
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in the Data Center Commissioning Process (levels 1 –5 )
- Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E's, equipment submittals and RFIs
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, P6, CxAlloy, and other construction project management tools
- On-site presence
- SOX control responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with substation and power distribution systems preferred
