Job Summary
Plan and coordinate the quality control program to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards. Perform inspections, witness tests, and audits to determine work acceptability and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements. Define corrective measures for problem areas, formulate quality control objectives, and supervise workers engaged in plant functions. Develop and analyze statistical data to establish product standards and reliability expectancy, while maintaining inspection and work performance records. This role supports Turner Industries' turnaround projects in the petrochemical and refining sectors, requiring a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and ability to interpret isometric diagrams and CAD drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in all aspects of welding, quality control, and / or inspection
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to read isometric diagrams, PIDs, CAD drawings, etc.
- Interpreting / Understanding 3D modeling
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
- lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead
