Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate multiple project sites and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installation activities while leading Foremen and maintaining adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Interpret plans and specifications, review material procurement, and allocate manpower to maximize productivity. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and safety compliance, evaluate staff through performance appraisals, and ensure accurate daily timekeeping and logging. Coordinate with the VDC team for shop drawing approvals, manage labor tracking, and provide monthly cost-to-complete reports. Monitor look-ahead schedules to identify risks and interface with the prefabrication department to meet project requirements. Requires at least six years of field experience, including four in a supervisory role, and proficiency in electrical systems, FL and AHCA codes, and scheduling tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of field experience, including at least four years in a supervisory or Foreman role
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, coordination, and manpower planning
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of Electrical systems and applicable codes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across trades and departments
- Proficiency in computer-based scheduling, reporting, and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software)
- Strong understanding of FL Building, and AHCA codes
- Knowledge of lighting controls
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment
- Commitment to use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing in the role
