Job Summary
Electrical Project Manager to lead end-to-end management of diverse commercial and residential electrical projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Responsibilities include scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation; coordinating with clients, builders, engineers, property managers, foremen, and subcontractors to align goals and deliverables; developing quotes and plans via digital take-offs; tracking KPIs, managing change orders/RFIs, and controlling costs for profitability; overseeing site execution, troubleshooting, and ensuring BC Electrical Code and safety compliance; conducting client consultations and energy-efficiency assessments to ensure 100% satisfaction; mentoring field teams and promoting continuous improvement; handling documentation, reporting, insurance inspections, and close-out processes while fostering stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in electrical contracting (minimum 5+ years) with supervisory background
- Red Seal Inter-Provincial Electrician certification preferred; strong understanding of BC Electrical Code and safety regulations
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and multiple projects in commercial/residential settings (renovations, new builds, service upgrades, EV/renewable installs)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills for client interactions and team coordination
- Valid BC driver's license and reliable vehicle for site visits
- Proficiency with project management tools, digital quoting software, and MS Office/estimating programs
