Job Summary
Electrical Project Manager to lead design-build electrical construction projects in Cedar Rapids, IA, coordinating with field teams, clients, and leadership; responsibilities include initiating through turnover, cost, schedule, and quality control, preparing cost reports, maintaining schedules and change orders, coordinating manpower, client/vendor relationships, approving invoices, reviewing addenda, mitigating risks, and providing progress reports; requires 3+ years in large-scale electrical construction projects, NEC/OSHA knowledge, budgeting and estimating proficiency, and willingness to travel nationally.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical contracting
- Strong background managing data center or mission-critical projects
- 3+ years managing large-scale electrical construction projects (design/build preferred)
- Experience managing project budgets and delivering on time
- Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to produce project cost projections, manage schedules, and handle change orders
- Proficiency with Accubid or similar estimating software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and collaborate with field superintendents
- Willingness to travel nationally as needed
