Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary

Own end-to-end project management for electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, focusing on mission-critical facilities like data centers and industrial sites. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans while tracking cost performance and forecasting to completion. Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact, managing expectations, change orders, and relationships with hyperscale and industrial clients. Coordinate with the Qualifying Party/Master Electrician and field superintendents to ensure code compliance, safety, and quality standards. Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including scope negotiation, procurement, and performance oversight. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and RFIs to drive resolution of design and constructability issues. Lead project meetings, produce owner/client reporting, and maintain accurate project documentation. Partner with estimating and business development on pursuits, proposals, and scope development. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and all applicable local/state electrical codes and permitting requirements. Mentor project engineers and support staff as the division builds its team. Requires 5+ years of electrical project management experience, strong NEC knowledge, and proficiency with Procore or MS Project. Based in Dallas-Fort Worth with travel to project sites across the DFW area.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in electrical construction
  • Direct experience managing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical (data center) projects
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proven track record managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships on projects of significant scale
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong communication and client-management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across the DFW area and, as the division grows, other regions
