Job Summary
Electrical Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations. Lead with field teams, coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors; track budgets, labor hours, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents; read and interpret drawings and NEC standards; communicate with customers, general contractors, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and internal teams; travel as needed and maintain strong customer relationships, safety, quality workmanship, and long-term client outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical construction experience required
- Experience as Electrical Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Foreman, Superintendent, or similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement
- Knowledge of NEC standards and general electrical construction practices
- Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel for projects as needed
