Job Summary
Electrical Construction Project Manager for Data Center / mission-critical facilities. Manages cradle-to-grave data center projects including estimating, planning, procurement, budgets, scheduling, staffing, and liaison with contractors/vendors to ensure delivery within design standards, budget, and schedule. Leads on-site supervision, develops project plans (costs, timelines, manpower, change orders), and coordinates multiple projects concurrently. Requires strong organization, back-office focus, and ability to drive projects from ground-up or retrofit/live environments. Must oversee safety (OSHA), ensure codes/compliance, and maintain client relationships in a fast-paced data-center environment. Travel to project sites and offices as needed; proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam is preferred. Prior experience in the data center construction industry and the ability to manage a regional team of suppliers and coordinate equipment deliveries. The role entails leadership of the project team, vendor management, and ensuring alignment with company design standards and objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor
- Experience managing a budget
- 5+ years’ experience as a licensed journeyman electrician (a plus)
- 5+ years of supervisory experience / People and Resource Management
- Experience interpreting blueprints and specifications (electrical and mechanical)
- Experience with Electrical Conduits / Power Systems (UPS, Switchgear, Generators, PDUs)
- OSHA Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Travel as needed to project sites
- Solid Admin skills
- Client-facing / client management skills
- Bachelor's/Associates degree a plus but not required
